Beltran Matos is a Vice President at Voltiq since January 2024. He contributes almost 10 years of international experience in financial advisory, with a large experience in M&A in the infrastructure and renewable energy industries.
Prior to joining Voltiq, Beltran was an investment banker at Mediobanca, with a focus on energy. At Mediobanca he participated in numerous landmark transactions such as the sale of Elecnor’s renewable energy platform Enerfin to Statkraft, Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy. Beltran was also involved in the acquisition by TotalEnergies of EDP’s B2C client portfolio in Spain.
Beltran started his career in 2015 in Houlihan Lokey, a global financial advisory firm, where he was part of the Iberian Corporate Finance team and worked on numerous M&A transactions in the infrastructure, industrials and consumer sectors.
Beltran holds a BA & MA in Business Administration and a BA & MA in Law from CUNEF University in Madrid. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
