Ivana Cepon, based in Panama City, is Senior Director for the Central American and Caribbean region at Voltiq since 2016. She has built up Voltiq’s relationship network in the region and worked on multiple transactions such as the 90 MW Chara Solar project in Mexico for Latam developer Amazilya.
Ivana has 16 years of international experience in the area of climate change and sustainable development. She developed carbon reduction projects in Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. She has a track record in strategic advisory, business development and coordination of workgroups on climate change and sustainable development in the private sector.
Ivana is a member of the Sustainability Committee of AMCHAM in Panama, member of the technical advisory committee of ANCON, member of the Executive Advisory Committee of the Verified Carbon Standard for Latin America and member of Executive Advisory Committee of development finance institution CAF for the implementation of the Paris Agreement from the private sector side.
She graduated as Chemical Engineer from La Plata University of Argentina and started her professional career in 2001 with MGM International and Morgan Stanley. Since 2008 she’s part of the board of directors of 33 Group and since 2015 General Director of PFS based in Panama. In 2016, following a cooperation agreement between 33 Group and Voltiq, Ivana joined Voltiq as Senior Director for the Central American and Caribbean regions. Ivana is fluent in Spanish and English.
