ENERPARC secures refinancing from Banco Sabadell

ENERPARC AG has successfully refinanced through a long-term debt package a portfolio consisting of operating solar PV projects with an aggregate capacity of 68 MWp. The refinancing was provided by Spanish bank Banc Sabadell. Voltiq acted as exclusive financial advisor to ENERPARC throughout the debt process.

The portfolio includes five photovoltaic projects located in Balearic Islands, Spain. Project sizes range between 3 and 52 MWp. All projects are currently in operation and selling part of the energy produced to a blue chip off-taker.

The portfolio was initially financed through a short-term financing solution, which was fully repaid upon financial close in February 2025. The new financing package, which will be repaid over approx. 20 years, also returns capital to ENERPARC for the ongoing development and construction of new projects.

"We are excited to announce the successful completion of a key financing agreement that reinforces our commitment to sustainable growth. By partnering with local expert lenders, we are positioning ourselves not only to navigate the evolving market landscape but also to unlock new opportunities for expansion. This partnership will support the development of our ambitious portfolio and allow us to respond with greater agility to always evolving market trends." said Marco Langone, Head of Finance at ENERPARC.

"We are pleased to have completed our first transaction with ENERPARC, marking the beginning of what we anticipate to be a successful long-term partnership. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of Spain’s renewables potential. We look forward to building on this initial deal and exploring future opportunities together, supporting ENERPARC as they continue their growth in Spain and other markets." added Joaquín López, Global Head of Structured Finance, Banco Sabadell.

Manuel Cabrerizo, Partner at Voltiq, added: "As trusted financial advisor to ENERPARC, we are pleased to have supported them in this important transaction. This deal marks another milestone in our long-standing relationship. We are proud to have provided financing solutions internationally, to help drive ENERPARC’s strategic growth. We remain dedicated to delivering tailored solutions that enable ENERPARC to expand and optimize its financial structure."

ENERPARC was advised by Voltiq, Simmons & Simmons and Auriga, who acted as Sponsor’s financial, legal and hedging advisor, respectively. Watson Farley Williams, Arup and Ernst Burghardt acted as legal, technical and insurance advisors to the lenders, respectively.
