SHV sells stake in 165 MW Belwind offshore wind park

Global retail & distribution company SHV, among others the largest LPG gas supplier worldwide, with a 2011 turnover of EUR 17 billion, sold its participation in the Belwind offshore wind park.

Global retail & distribution company SHV, among others the largest LPG gas supplier worldwide, with a 2011 turnover of EUR 17 billion, sold its participation in the Belwind offshore wind park. Located 46 km off the coast of Belgium, the 165 MW Belwind wind park became fully operational in December 2010, and has since been operating successfully. Voltiq acted as exclusive sell-side advisor to SHV.

Mr. Kees van der Drift, Finance Director of SHV, comments: "We were delighted to work with Voltiq on this transaction. Parties have not disclosed the sales price.
