Germany’s Federal Network Agency announced on 9 September 2021 that EDF Renewables was the successful bidder for the N-3.8 seabed area in the North Sea, with a capacity of 433 MW.
EDF Renewables appointed Amscap, that merged with Voltiq in July 2022, as its financial advisor in the context of preparing and submitting this successful zero-subsidy bid.
The team advising EDF Renewables was led by Jan-Peter Elffers. Amscap delivered a custom-built financial model for this tender that was used to ensure a solid business case. Furthermore, they were closely involved in the offtake and debt workstreams, allowing them to further underpin some of the crucial assumptions of the bid.contact us for more information
