700 MW Wind Onshore

In 2014, a Canadian Pension Fund acquired a stake in Turkish leading wind developer & operator Polat Enerji. Polat has operating onshore wind assets throughout the country, as well as development assets in wind and solar PV.

Voltiq took charge of part of the Due Diligence process, managing the technical and market advisors. Voltiq created the financial model, incorporated DD results into valuation, performed risk & mitigation studies and scenario analyses on the portfolio, and produced the Issues Lists that fed into SPA negotiations.

This project is an example of the unique multi-disciplinary expertise of Voltiq in renewable energies, serving institutional investor requirements regarding renewable energy infrastructure assets.
