Borssele I & II Wind Offshore

Amsterdam Capital Partners (Amscap), that merged with Voltiq in July 2022, acted as financial and commercial structuring advisor to the Admiraal De Ruyter Windpark C.V. consortium regarding the tender for the Borssele I & II Wind Farm sites off the coast of The Netherlands.

The Scope of Work entailed among others extensive and detailed financial modelling and bid preparation. 

The subsidy and permits for the Borssele Wind Farm Sites I and II were eventually awarded to Ørsted, formerly known as DONG Energy. There were 38 bids in total. The wind farm is located more than 22 kilometres off the coast of the province of Zeeland. With 94 turbines type Siemens Gamesa 8,0 MW-167 DD it has a total installed capacity of 752 MW.
