Green Hydrogen Ammonia project

Kyoga, a Spanish green hydrogen production development company, is in the process of developing multiple large scale green hydrogen production hubs in Spain. The most advanced development project is a 360 MWe hydrogen-to-ammonia plant located close to the town of Espera, Andalusia, Spain. The project will be fueled with water from local wastewater treatment facilities, and powered by a 500 MW colocated solar PV and 300 MW wind project. Hydrogen will be converted into ammonia and transported to the port of Algeciras. Construction is planned for 2028-2029.  

Voltiq was appointed to perform the following services: 

• Assist in building the financial model for the integrated hydrogen + solar + wind project; 
• Assist in building the strategic business plan for the company;
• Building the Assumption-book with key market data incl EPC-pricing, solar and wind LCOE analysis, green power procurement, hydrogen + ammonia sales models and pricing;
• Market sounding of potentially interested investment partners.
