Solar greenhouses Sardinia

In 2011, Eland with the assistance of Voltiq (commercial, financial), Ingenostrum (technical) and Grimaldi (legal) realized a portfolio of solar greenhouses on the island of Sardinia. The rooftops consist partly of solar modules. Inside the greenhouses, crops like rucola are cultivated.

Voltiq was responsible for structuring and negotiating EPC and O&M agreements with leading contractor FCC (E), insurance contracts (Marsh) as well as coordinating the agricultural proposition.

Voltiq sourced and structured the non recourse debt financing package with Banca Intesa Sanpaolo / BIIS (I).
