Bach Dinh is Director at Voltiq since 2020 and acting as Managing Director of Voltiq's representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Bach is responsible for origination and relationship management in Vietnam's renewable energy sector, as well as handling local transaction logistics such as due diligence and process management with Vietnamese clients and project owners.
Bach has 20 years of experience in managing technical and research projects in the energy sector. From 2010 onwards, Bach has been a Professor at the Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Vietnam’s leading Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in HCMC, where he is responsible for developing and managing training programmes in Power Systems and Renewable Energy. Previously, Bach co-founded Datapak, a company which supplies IT solutions for industrial projects regarding energy efficiency management & energy saving and grid-connected solar power. Prior to working for TDTU, he worked as Project Manager for a variety of technical projects in HV substations and thermal generation plants in Vietnam and Southeast Asia–Pacific, for large energy companies such as Siemens and Schneider Electric.
Bach Dinh holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, and a M.Eng. degree in Power Systems from the National University of HCMC, Vietnam. Bach Dinh is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
