Manuel Cabrerizo is Partner and Co-founder of Voltiq. He contributes more than 25 years international experience in infrastructure banking.
Manuel is one of the leading renewable energy project finance bankers worldwide, and has led numerous landmark transactions such as the 146 MW Laberinto solar project financing in Chile, Latin America Solar deal of the year 2015, the record-time multilateral financing of the 70 MW Campo Palomas wind project in Uruguay, and the 81 MW Hedet wind farm financing with a Google PPA in Finland for French IPP Neoen.
Before co-founding Voltiq in 2009, Manuel was Managing Director at WestLB and closed more than 40 structured financings across sectors and jurisdictions. Until 2009 he was particularly active in structuring, underwriting and syndicating renewable energy transactions in Spain in the wind, solar PV and solar thermal segments, each of these accounting for 1.200, 150 and 250 MW, respectively.
Manuel is fluent in Spanish, English and German.
