Quentin Le Noac’h is Partner at Voltiq since 2022. He was Director with Amsterdam Capital Partners (Amscap), a financial advisory firm focussed on offshore wind energy projects. Amscap merged with Voltiq in July 2022.
Quentin has 15 years of experience in investments, debt financing and M&A, the majority of which in renewable energies. At Amscap, he has been leading several landmark transactions such as the investment by Canadian pension fund CDPQ in the Greater Changhua 1 offshore wind project in Taiwan in 2021 or the EUR 510mln green bond raised for CPP Investments stake in the Hohe See and Albatros wind projects in Germany.
Before joining Amscap in 2019, Quentin worked at Vattenfall where he advised the executive management on investment decisions, development and acquisitions of renewable energy projects especially offshore wind (including a.o. Horns Rev III and Aberdeen offshore wind farms). Moreover, Quentin advised on numerous investments in conventional energy sources as well as wholesale and retail trading of electricity. Prior to his time in Vattenfall, Quentin spent over 5 years with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London and BNP Paribas in Frankfurt, where he managed credit underwriting for a range of financing and derivatives transactions in the natural resources sector.
Quentin is serving as non-executive director on the board of an offshore wind farm project in The Netherlands. He brings a strong understanding of the offshore wind asset class and the wider energy sector, as well as extensive financing expertise. Quentin is fluent in French, English, German and Spanish.
