Voltiq expands team with Senior Director Niels Pietersen

Voltiq welcomes Niels Pietersen who will join and strengthen its team of renewable energy finance experts as per March 16th 2020. Niels will focus on Voltiq’s investment banking advisory services and be based in Utrecht.

Niels Pietersen (1983) moves from ABN AMRO where he held the position of Executive Director Corporate Finance. He started his career at ABN AMRO Corporate Finance over 12 years ago and has played a key role in the successful origination and execution of landmark transactions for key clients of ABN AMRO. Niels was amongst others instrumental in the announced sale of Eneco to Mitsubishi, the sale of Van Oord’s stake in the Gemini offshore wind park, the acquisition of Joulz by 3i infrastructure, the acquisition of Delta's power and gas infrastructure by Dutch DSO Stedin and various equity raises of Dutch TSO TenneT .
